POST-PRODUCTION PRODUCER

Our Producer’s primary focus is to organize and manage all details of post-production projects. This includes acting as the main point of contact for clients, scheduling and managing all project meetings, creating production and post-production schedules, and acting as the liaison between our client and our creative team. Organization and communication are the most important traits of a good Producer.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Monitor all work during the post-production process to ensure that the project is delivered on time, on budget, in the correct format, and with all of the client requests addressed.
  • Working in tandem with the creative project lead to make sure the entire team understands our client's specific needs, deliverables and schedule.
  • Monitor and track all of the time spent by each resource, calling attention to any work that is going to finish over budget. This includes managing external resources.
  • Schedule, manage, and attend all project meetings, internal and external.
  • Understand Artifact’s unique workflow and capabilities.
  • Maintain a positive, optimistic attitude under tight deadlines.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Experience in post-production is required. Background in commercial or agency post production is preferred.
  • Demonstrated superior written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • The ability to work flexible hours is necessary at times. May require travel.

Of course building and maintaining a strong relationships with clients and artists on every project is crucial. Producers must not be shy in pointing out potential issues that may develop during production. Our Producers report directly to the Head of Production. This is a full-time salaried position with benefits.

SENIOR MOTION DESIGNER/ANIMATOR (FULL TIME & FREELANCE)

We are currently seeking a Senior Designer/Animator to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about all aspects of typography, design and animation, and have a solid understanding of all design and animation styles using both After Effects and 3D (Maya or C4D) applications. Any knowledge in VFX compositing and/or color grading is a plus. This candidate will need to able to effectively communicate with our Creative Director and Head of Production while working either alone or as part of a team of other animators, VFX artists, editors and colorists.

Job Description:

  • Working closely with artists throughout the life of projects, ensuring they understand the goals and deadlines for their work and bringing them back on track when required.
  • Work closely with a project’s Creative Director and Producer to ensure work is delivered within project deadlines and meets the client’s brief, both creatively and technically.
  • Ability to interpret feedback, whether from the Creative Director, Producers or Clients, and make changes to creative work in response to this feedback. Offer insights, options and ideas to keep projects moving forwards.
  • Remain up-to-date with current creative trends and innovations.

Job Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of related work experience and a strong portfolio is required.
  • Must have a portfolio of outstanding motion graphics work, a unique creative vision and point of view is essential for this role.
  • Must have advanced knowledge of the Adobe Suite Applications. (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
  • Expert knowledge of 3D applications (C4D and/or Maya)
  • Experience designing boards and style frames is a must.
  • Meeting deadlines and keeping within the scope of projects is the least creative aspect of the job, but probably one of the most important within Artifact’s working structure.
  • Daily (or as scheduled) check-ins with creative leadership and producers to ensure that projects are on track.
  • Occasionally take part in client calls and meetings throughout the duration of a project.
  • We are currently working remotely. When possible and safe we plan on returning to our studio and would request that work be done in-house in Atlanta. We are willing to discuss this with remote applicants and/or what the process will be if moving to Atlanta is not an option.
